In brief

SGS has been represented in Germany since 1920. We employ a staff of approximately 1,550 workers at our Taunusstein (Frankfurt/M) headquarters and the various German branch offices and laboratories.

As in other countries, our German operations focus on performing examinations, tests and certifications. We assist you by providing technical and economical certainty. To that end, we compare and analyse your raw materials, goods, products and services or even complex technical procedures or operational systems.

Our goal is to contribute to the success of your company. To achieve that goal, we operate in accordance with the specifications you provide or the specifications we have determined together. In addition, we observe regulatory or legal standards.
